Tell LI School Leadership a little bit about yourself. Feel free to post your email address and website.
I am currently a 6th grade teacher in Queens and adjunct professor at Touro College in Manhattan. This October I will be finished with my educational leadership program at SUNY Stony Brook. My two passions are education and my family. I look forward to "meeting" people who are dedicated to this profession and who enjoy talking "shop."
Thank you for your help and suggestions!! I worked at both O'Neil and Mulvey as a sub over the years, but I am sure I may know Theresa Madison more so by face if I saw her!
Another question....how long have you been a 6th grade teacher in Queens? I taught 2nd grade in Jamaica, Queens. Now I teach 5th grade in Central Islip, Long Island. Also, how did you get into teaching college? I am actually interested in working in the college level myself. Any suggestions and/or advice?
Hi Alex,
I am also interested in the Educational Leadership program at SUNY Stonybrook. Are you currently pursuing the dual SBL/SDA certification? How long is the program for?
