Have you read Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now? Any good? I heard an interview with him the other day and I think I need to order it.
Good to see you here! I joined after Bill Brennan clued me in. You might be interested to hear about Bascom's small role in Port Jeff's laptop initiative. Fun stuff.
It was really good to see you as well. It was a nice surprise. :-) I'm really looking forward to using all of my new "toys" during the upcoming school year. Maybe we'll see each other again in the near future.
Take care of yourself,
Sarah

I am honored that you took the time to welcome me. Thank you. I was thinking about starting an international group. May I ask what area of Long Island do you work? I have taken seminars in Huntington at the Marriott. It was through, of all organizations, the National Business Institute. The topic of the seminar was ' School Violence '. I have also taken seminars in Stony Brook. That course encompassed the topic of special education's IEP forms.
Yuk!!!! I hate filling out those things. A student who can not understand concepts in the same way that other people do should not be treated because of a name. The student should be treated like any other student. Do you agree? By the way.....In Jordan....specifically Amman,,,,,they treat those same students who learn differently than others are treated like any other student. I was invited by Dr. Khaled Toukan, the Minister of Education, to tour various schools that had students who learn differently and see ' What Works There '. They included students who ranged from 3 years of age to 15 years of age. Inclusion is the norm. Trust me. It works. Again...Thank you for welcoming me. I will try to contribute as much as I can.
Honorably Yours,
Frank P.
