Recently, there has been heightened interest in 21st century learning. What is 21st century learning? How to operationalize it? Where are the promosing practices?

Tell LI School Leadership a little bit about yourself. Feel free to post your email address and website.
I have been with SED for almost 20 years, 10 in Office of High Education and the recent 10 in Office of Technology Policy and Office of Curriculum and Instructional Support. I have been coordinating various education technology programs and initiatives (with limited capacity though).

Hi Teh-yuan,
May I copy your post to the Internet Safety and Social Networking group to the NASTECH group? I'm glad to see that NYSED is providing some resources and inviting feedback on this important topic.
Hi Tey-yuan,
I am excited about this venture. In Washington last week, one of things I was able to talk to staffers about was, was this opportunity of using social networks to expand knowledge. All three offices (Clinton, Schumer and Israel) wanted to have the link to this site! It is interesting that in about 2 weeks time there are 300 people signed up! I am excited and very glad that you have joined us in conversation. Next year I would love to have a large cohort go to Washington to talk about ed tech funding. It was an interesting and very worthwhile trip.

Good to see you here also. Another intersection that we can use to weave the cloth of friendship and professional growth.
